Paul Wylie has been in the industry for over 40 years. Paul has been an active real estate investor for 37 years having participated in buying and/or selling over 400 properties for both short term resale as well as long term holds. He also had a highly recognized tenure as a principal/CEO in the mortgage banking industry, where he co-founded and grew one of the largest mortgage institutions in the nation, Metrocities Mortgage. During that tenure, he developed many real estate related organizations from escrow companies, to real estate companies, to 1031 exchange companies, to insurance agencies. In the last decade, I have been involved in over 300 residential real
estate transactions in the L.A. area. Being a very busy professional
only scratches the surface.
I have had listings featured in the L.A. Times, been on Fox 11
news, interviewed for publications such as the Larchmont Buzz,
BestCompany.com, and my articles have been published in the
Tolucan Times. Due to my house hacking strategies, I have been
published as a case study in The House Hacking Strategy, a book
published by Bigger Pockets, the largest real estate network in the
country. I continue to make a name for myself in the Los Angeles
and real estate community and our team now ranks in the top 10% of
producing agents in all of Los Angeles and has ranked as one of the
top real estate teams in the country by Real Trends featured in the
WSJ.
I graduated from CSU, Stanislaus in Business Management. During
my last semester of college, I decided that real estate would become
my career path and passion. So, through my wide University
connections, I landed an internship with Donita Zoerb Realty,
focusing on commercial property management. All the while I also
taking on the courses needed to get my real estate license.
In 2010, I started my own business, Albert Consulting, where I
helped in auction foreclosure purchases and acquisitions. After
acquiring over $4M in property assets for my clients, I started
working closer with investors in sales, construction management,
and best practices for the organization.
Then in 2011, I joined LAMERICA Real Estate, focusing on the
buying and selling of homes throughout the L.A. area. And to this
day, I still work with the team to purchase and sell homes all over the
greater L.A. area for both the investors and clients alike. My clientele
ranges from first time home buyers those in the entertainment
business buying and selling multi-million-dollar homes.
I have also been developing my own investment portfolio, getting
creative through the art of house hacking. To date, I own a condo
and a home with an Accessory Dwelling Unit where I live with
my amazing wife. And I’m only 32 years old and I’m not stopping
anytime soon.
In my free time, I volunteer and travel.
